Mrs. Blueberry

In Mrs. Blueberry, school is finally out and best friends Tommy and Hannah make plans for their summer fun. But odd things have recently been happening in Bath. Someone is doing good deeds and helping people. Determined to solve the mystery of who it is, they make it their summer project to find out.

While Mrs. Blueberry is a middle grade children's novel, most will enjoy the antics of best friends Tommy and Hannah, especially those who grew up in the fifties. Each chapter is entertaining, as they go about solving the mystery of who is doing the good deeds, never suspecting that everyone else already knows who it is. Because the story takes place in Bath, those who are familiar with the area can relate to the places described. If from away, they might become interested in seeking them out.

"I bought Mrs. Blueberry for my nine year old grandson. Before I gave it to him, I read it myself. Having grown up in the fifties, I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. He liked the book very much and could easily relate to Tommy. When he'd finished reading it, his sister, age eight, also read and enjoyed it. I recommend the book for a reader of any age."
